TRANSPORTATION

The Congress Committee is not responsible for the transport or pick up of any Alumni to and from any venue sites. All Alumni will pay for their transportation. The easiest way to come to Kopaonik Mountain is a 4 hour drive by car or bus. There are several different bus companies who can take you there for approximately. 605 dinars (9 EUR) for one direction. Buses to Kopaonik depart from Belgrade twice per day, one is at 7.00 am and other at 12.00 noon.

HOTELS

Alumni are going to be placed in the different hotel as delegates, but still on Kopaonik Mountain. Any alumni attending the conference will be booked into the Grand Hotel on Kopoanik. The cost of the room varies from 38 EUR per person for a single, 28 EUR for a double and 27 EUR for a triple. Food is included in these prices and will not have to be paid for separately.

CONGRESS COMMITTEE RULES

All Alumni are strictly forbidden from staying in the delegate rooms. If Alumni are found in a delegated room, your MCP will be informed and you will be expected to move to the Grand Hotel on Kopaonik.

The Congress has adopted some simple but we believe efficient rules regarding alumni:

a. Alumni must be registered either on the Alumni database or with the Alumni Help Desk on Kopaonik to attend any Alumni events. If you are not registered, you cannot attend the sessions.
b. Alumni are strictly forbidden from staying in delegate rooms.
c. Alumni must pay for their own food or accommodation in an external hotel. If you wish to book a room in the Grand Hotel, please contact Sanja Jovanovic (kiki@ic2003.org)for details.

For alumni that intend to arrive by car and have the intention of being present at the International Congress without booking a room prior to arriving at Kopaonik and intend on crashing with your delegation, the following rules are in effect:

If an alumnus is found crashing in a delegate room or posing as a delegate, the CC will take the following actions:
d) The CC will ask MCP from the Alumni’s home country to collect from the Alumni a full delegate fee and pay this to the CC;
e) The CC will ask AI to collect a full delegate fee from those Alumni and pay to the CC;
f) If all these measures fail, the CC will inform police and you will be removed from the hotel area or deported from Serbia and Montenegro;
g) If a non paying person, Alumni or otherwise, is found hidden among the delegates with the knowledge/assistance of his own delegation, the CC will request that a number of people, equal to the number of non paying people be removed from the country’s delegation, without regard to whether they have a right to be there or not.

Since we cannot have any of crashers at the International Congress, the CC will not take any responsibility or accept any consequences caused taking actions f or g. Please assist us by preventing this from happening by registering upon Arrival at Kopaonik with the Help Desk.
