State of the World Forum


The State of the World Forum brings together some of today's leading members of the business community and the youth who will be leading tomorrow. The aim of these workshops is to initiate a dialogue and build a greater awareness of the current trends and issues affecting our world. The SOTW Forum will consist of parallel, interactive, issues-based workshops. Delegates will register for the sessions they want to explore.

The topics that will be addressed on the Forum are those of most significant importance for the Region today. Besides a great opportunity to meet and listen to some of the most prominent experts of our region, the participants will have a chance to interact and engage in discussions with people who are leading on-field projects regarding the topics addressed in the State of the World Forum. Therefore, it will not only provide a theoretical background and basis of professional and personal improvement, but also a possibility to learn and discuss on-site with experts who have gained practical experience in the past and are willing to exchange their knowledge.

The topic for the workshops are expected to deal in some way with "The State of the World", in the past they have varied from Social Entrepreneurship, Globalization and the Digital Divide and Climate Change, just to name a few. This year one of the issues on which the forum will be focusing will be Economics of Transition, namely because the importance of such issues for the people in the Region. The aim of these workshops is to initiate a dialogue and build a greater awareness of the current trends and issues affecting our world. The SOTW Forum delegates will register for the sessions they want to explore, and will have a choice among roughly fourteen sessions and just as many key speakers.

The State of the World forum will feature some of the most prominent recognizable speakers and leaders in South-Eastern Europe's industry. Presenters will conduct the interactive issues-based sessions with delegates who have signed up for the round table and discussion. We invite companies from a variety of business industries to participate in this event.
