Corporate Social Responsibility Symposium
Among many
important issues that AIESEC tries to influence globally, Corporate
Social Responsibility has always been one of those identified
as crucial. We recognize the significance of organizations and
corporations acting socially responsible and engaging in resolving
or avoiding social and other stakeholder environment challenges
or problems.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Symposium will gather AIESEC
members and guests, representatives of private and public sectors,
civil society organizations and others. This symposium will be
a chance for all participants to present ideas, case studies and
various viewpoints on the subject of "Social and Corporate
Environment Responsibility". It will also be a sort of a
showcase of best practices in the field in question. In that sense,
this event could also be considered as a chance to network and
build a knowledge base as well as develop and exchange ides for
the future projects considering Social responsibility within corporations.
Interactive
workshops and panel style discussion will bring together representatives
from different fields in a joint effort to bring new and fresh
ideas to the field, as well as concrete project. Participants
will have a chance to learn about the complex issues considering
the social responsibility and discuss practical ideas in an open
forum.
Organizations from various industry branches are invited to participate
in this event, offering delegates and other participants a unique
perspective on complex issues of introducing, developing and maintaining
quality standards in projects connected to the corporate social
responsibility issues.
Special contribution is expected from international companies
and corporations who will have a chance to will show with their
own example, how they operate and how they have succeeded to introduce
that phrase in their everyday business conduct. A special focus
will be given to CSR projects in countries that do not pay enough
attention to social and corporate environment responsibility. |
